This page lists every cookie hplpeptides.ie sets and why. It is short because the site sets very little.

A small file a site stores in your browser so it can recognise the same visitor between pages. Under the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011, a site must ask your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary for a service you asked for.

These are set without asking, because the shop cannot work without them. They carry no advertising identifier and are not shared with anyone.

• Basket and session cookies — set by WooCommerce so the items you add stay in your basket while you move around the site, and so checkout knows which basket is yours. They expire when you close your browser or shortly after.
• Login cookies — set only if you sign in to an account, so you stay signed in. They expire when you sign out.
• Security tokens — short-lived values that prove a form was submitted from this site, which is what stops other sites submitting forms on your behalf.

We also use your browser’s session storage to remember that you have already seen the entry screen and the page transition, so neither replays on every page. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab and is never sent to our server.

None. We set no analytics, advertising, tracking or social media cookies, and we do not embed anything that sets them on our behalf. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

If that changes we will ask you first, and this page will list what was added before it is set.

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Because the cookies above are the ones that carry your basket and your sign-in, blocking them will stop the shop working — you will not be able to keep items in a basket or complete an order. Browsing and reading certificates will still work.
