Research use policy

This policy explains what we sell, who we sell it to, and the limits on both. It forms part of the Terms of sale.

Every product on this site is supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only — work carried out on cells, tissue or other material outside a living organism, in a facility equipped for it.

These materials are not medicinal products and hold no marketing authorisation from the Health Products Regulatory Authority or the European Medicines Agency. They are not medical devices, food, food supplements or cosmetics. They are not for human or veterinary use, and not for ingestion, injection or administration of any kind, to anyone, including yourself.

We make no claim that any product prevents, treats, cures or alleviates any condition, and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting one. Where we publish a purity figure it describes what the laboratory measured in that lot — nothing more.

We sell to qualified researchers and to institutions buying for in-vitro study — universities, hospitals, research institutes, and commercial laboratories.

Before you can complete an order you must confirm, in your own act of ticking the box, that you are buying on that basis. The box is never pre-ticked and the order cannot be placed without it. We record the exact wording you agreed to, together with the date, time and IP address, and we keep that record against your order.

We refuse any order where we are not satisfied the purchase is for laboratory research, and we do not have to explain the decision. That includes orders accompanied by questions about dosing, cycles, administration or personal use, and orders where the delivery details or quantities do not fit a research setting. If we decline after payment we refund in full.

Confirming research use in order to obtain material for another purpose is a misrepresentation, and the responsibility for what follows rests with the person who made it.

We will answer questions about what a lot contains, how it was tested, how it is presented, and how to store it. We will send you the certificate for any lot we have shipped.

We will not advise on dosing, administration, reconstitution for administration, protocols involving people or animals, or anything else that assumes the material is going into a body. Asking will not get a different answer, and it may cause us to decline the order.

Each lot is tested by an independent laboratory, Independent laboratory, by reversed-phase HPLC for purity and by mass spectrometry for identity. A compound is only listed for sale once its certificate is in hand, so every product on this site has a published certificate behind it.

Certificates are published against the lot number printed on the vial, and stay published after the lot sells out. Look up any lot in the COA library. If the number on your vial does not match the certificate you are reading, the certificate describes different material — tell us.

We publish results as the laboratory returned them, including where a lot falls below specification and is withdrawn.

You are responsible for handling, storing and disposing of these materials safely and lawfully, in line with your own institution’s rules and the law where you are. Store as stated on the product page and the vial. Dispose of them as laboratory waste, never through household waste or drains.

If a vial arrives damaged, if the lot number does not match its certificate, or if anything about a product does not match how it is described here, email orders@hplpeptides.ie with your order number and the lot number. We would rather hear about it than not.
