Terms of sale

These terms apply to every order placed on hplpeptides.ie. Please read them before you order — placing an order means you accept them.

Who you are buying from

This site is operated by HIM CONSULTING BG EOOD, a company registered in Bulgaria under company number (UIC) 207598214.

Research use only

Everything sold on this site is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. The products are not medicinal products, not medical devices, not food, not dietary supplements and not cosmetics. They are not for human or veterinary use, and not for ingestion or administration of any kind.

We do not hold any marketing authorisation for these materials and we make no claim that any of them prevents, treats or cures anything. Before you can complete an order you must confirm that you are buying for laboratory research use only. That confirmation is recorded against your order. Our full position is set out in the Research use policy, which forms part of these terms.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. No contract exists until we send you an email confirming dispatch. Until then we may decline the order or any part of it — for example if the item is out of stock, if we have priced it incorrectly, or if we are not satisfied the purchase is for laboratory research.

If we decline an order after you have paid, we refund you in full by the method you paid with.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euro and include VAT at % where it applies. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. Delivery is shown in full before you pay and is never added afterwards.

We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order we have already accepted. If a price is obviously wrong and you could reasonably have recognised it as an error, we are not obliged to supply at that price.

Payment is taken at checkout by the methods offered there. Where you pay by bank transfer, your order is held until the funds clear in our account, and we dispatch after that.

Dispatch and delivery

We dispatch from Bulgaria. Delivery destinations, costs and timescales are set out on the Shipping and returns page and shown again at checkout before you pay.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Where you have asked us to use a carrier of your own choosing, risk passes when we hand the goods to that carrier.

Your right to cancel

If you are buying as a consumer you have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to cancel, without giving a reason. This is your right under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013.

To cancel, tell us in writing at lab@hplpeptides.ie within that period. A clear statement is enough; you may use the model cancellation form in the Regulations but you do not have to. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods. You pay the cost of returning them.

One exception applies. Vials are supplied sealed. Once a vial has been unsealed it cannot be returned on health and hygiene grounds, and the cancellation right does not apply to it. Sealed vials can be returned as normal. This exception is the one at Regulation 13(1)(e) of the 2013 Regulations.

If you are buying as a business rather than as a consumer, the statutory cancellation right does not apply, and returns are at our discretion.

Returns and refunds

Where you cancel in time and the vials are still sealed, we refund the price you paid plus the standard delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of you showing you have sent them, whichever is earlier. We refund by the method you paid with. If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard one, we refund the standard cost only.

We may reduce a refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to establish what the goods are.

If something is wrong with your order

Separately from the cancellation right above, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If what arrives is damaged, incorrect, or does not match the certificate published against its lot number, tell us at lab@hplpeptides.ie with your order number and the lot number on the vial. We will replace it or refund it, and we pay the return cost.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Liability

You are responsible for handling, storing, using and disposing of these materials safely and lawfully, and for satisfying yourself that your intended use is lawful and appropriate for your facility. We supply the material and its certificate of analysis; we do not supervise or advise on what you do with it.

We are liable for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not liable for loss arising from any use of the products outside in-vitro laboratory research, and we are not liable for business losses.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, email lab@hplpeptides.ie and we will deal with it directly. If we cannot resolve it between us, you can contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, and consumers in the EU can use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Irish law and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
